Here you’ll find work from my 30-plus-year career as an award-winning journalist. I spent 20 of those years as the editor of The Millerton News, among the longest-running local weeklies in New York’s Hudson Valley. These days I’m writing for Main Street Magazine, online at mainstreetmag.com.

I’m simultaneously working on my memoir while living my best life with the boy who shyly presented me with a chocolate Valentine back in fifth grade. We were only 10 and I was his first crush; 40 years later, he became mine. Now we’re husband and wife…
