We live in an age where health and wellness are foremost on most people’s minds. It’s one of the few things we all seem to have in common—we’re all trying to figure out how to stay healthy for as long as possible, with as little effort, worry, or expense as we can manage.
It’s a universal concern—and one I’ve grappled with personally since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis nearly two decades ago, at a time when I was also learning how to survive an unhealthy marriage. Thankfully, I left that emotionally abusive relationship with a renewed appreciation for the importance of mental wellness—and for the strength it takes to reclaim it.
That experience, coupled with my ongoing quest to stay strong and healthy, fuels my belief that health—physical, emotional, and mental—is among the most vital topics we can explore.
